Planning Commission Public Hearing

The Kawkawlin Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at the Kawkawlin Township Hall, 1836 E. Parish Rd Kawkawlin, MI 48631 on July 16, 2026 at 7:00PM to review requests for Special Use Permits for the following:

1. Mid Michigan Energy, LLC requests a Special Use Permit to construct a Sunoco Gas Service Station at the corner of South Huron (M-13) RD and E. Linwood Rd, 11 South Huron Road, Property Tax ID: 080-003-200-085-00
2. Linwood Storage, LLC is requesting a Special Use Permit to construct a new self storage building at 54 Elevator Rd in Linwood, Property Tax ID: 080-002-200-065-00
3. Michael K. Welmerink is requesting a Special Use Permit to add a drive through service for his Lindog Ice Cream Store located at 201 Center St. in Linwood, Property Tax ID: 09-080-L05-008-001-00
